Too bloody right we are British.

I admit when I was younger I was into freedom and independence malarky but now I see the wisdom in our nation not being divided.

Be proud of being a Scot,English etc etc but we are all one and the same.

Doesn't it all date back to the creation of the church of England by Henry VIII? The pope put a reward out to any good catholic country that could return England to the servitude of Rome, and ever since then there has been a bit of a ding dong, though we managed to prevent another invasion.

I personally think it is a crying shame that British people still feel they need to fight each other (especially as most people have no clue why we started in the first place). We have more in common with each other than we realise.

It's only when a common enemy presents itself that we rally together. If only we could be that way all the time, and stop the racial hatred.

Just exactly what's wrong with being scottish or english?

It gives Britain more chance to win football and rugby trophies. (Note I said chance)

We don't all love Del Boy and if that is really the best argument for being british you can come up with you should consider yourself french.

I don't disagree with you. We are British.

It tends to be the Scots and the Welsh that push for the whle seperation thing due to their hatred of their servitude to and ownership by the English.

So as a lot of them hate the English the English react by hating them back.

Personally as an Englishman I am happy to say I am British but as an Englishman I say this becuase the English are the dominant culture in Britain...

Alright im scottish and i dont hate the english or anything, but i think the english are english and the scottish are scottish etc, the only reason we are "british" is because of writing on a piece of paper. English always act like they are the better country just because of there leadership, we could lead ourselves, lets see how good everything is if we kept our oil. Ok to that person who said hes goin to be doin the ravishing, the amount of english girls ive ran through tells me you boys cant be up to much if they keep coming up here for a good boabin.

What I love about all of you is that you know how to dig in your heels. I am thinking of Britian during World War II when everyone helped everyone.
