I didn't live inside of LA, but I lived just outside of it, and yes it is superficial. It is not appealing to me, but it depends on the person, and what they want out of life.

It is a big city. I hated it. But they say there is alot to do there. There are stores, alot of people, T.V. shows to see. What is so attractive is the weather. It is ideal year round. You can see a movie, shop and people watch all on one street. have dinner in so many places. There is China Town ( all Chinese people, shops and culture). There is Olivera Street (Mexican people, shops and culture). There is Grammans Chinese Theatre where the movie stars put their hand and foot prints in cement. So much more than I can write about.

Attitude. Beach or mountains, you can get there. Big city or nature's treasures, it's all there for you. Experience other cultures without stepping on a plane. Great entertainment comes to you. Say L.A. and everybody connects.

I think so. Certainly there are genuine people there too, but the percentages of phonies are pretty high.
