I really don't believe so. One at point or the other, one of them will fall for the other. Maybe secretly where he/she will be afraid to tell it coz the friendship might be ruined.

I have a boyfriend. But I also have several guys who are friends. Who always have been and always will be. In the past a few guy friends have asked me out or shown an interest... even though I was interested in or dating my now boyfriend at the time. I would have to turn them down and they would mope around for a few days, but after that all would be ok and we're still friends. Or if I really didn't like the guy in the first place i completely ignored him until he left me alone in the one case.

Some have no interest in me at all. I have several completely platonic relationships with guys. I love talking to them because they offer a different point of view and different conversations than what you get from a girl typically.

My boyfriend has mostly friends who are girls. I am also friends with these girls and none of them like him more than just a friend. And he likes them as just friends. No they are not lying to me. Most of them are in relationships as well.

I think it is entirely possible for guys and gals to just be friends. That *is* the best way to make a relationship. My boyfriend was my best guy friend for years before we got together.

Yes I think you can have guy friends without falling in love. I have several. My question is, if you are already thinking this way, you must already like him in a more than friends manner. Think about what you just asked. If you didn't see a possible relationship you wouldnt even worry about what might happen. Make up you mind on how you want this relationship to go, friends or friends with benefits. Either way you cant go wrong, not if you care anything about this other person. Good luck!!!

Yes, I think so. I have plenty of guy friends who are just friends, who don't want any kind of relationship with me other than that. I've dropped most of them since I got married, but there are still a few I keep in touch with.

Edit: My best friend besides my husband is a guy. I had feelings for him at one point, and I think maybe he had feelings for me, but we never acted on it.

No. When I became so close with some male friends and understood each other very well. It turned out that they have changed to be friends with "benefit". However, I still like them as a friend, not bf. Does that count?

Well...that is something that Harry and Sally were also arguing about...it is a very interesting question. I myself do believe that men and women CAN be JUST friends. There might be a physical attraction there (mostly just coming from one side) but it is totally possible.

you need to quit watching television, and get a life. you will be surprise that guys and girls can be friends. Usually as friends you do have the confidence that there is some kind of trust. great examples: school, work, and even next door.

You are correct. But you have to follow your heart. Sometimes you have to go for it to find out if the other feels the same way about you. Love is only love if you are willing to get hurt in the process.
