Because most games do still kick off at 3 pm and the FA reckon that attendances for awesome spectacles like Macclesfield v Grimsby might be even lower if there's a halfway decent match on TV at exactly the same time. Curiously the FA don't appear to believe that the same principle applies to midweek matches. Yeah, beats me as well.

in spain, providing u pay for your seasons subscription, u can watch any match from the top 2 divisions each weekend...say if u had 4 matches kicking off at 5pm, u could choose any of them by punching in your match code, however, if the game u have chosen isnt very good, u cannot switch to another match..,there has never been a problem as far as i know with attendances there...if this has changed could someone let me know as i havent been to spain for a couple of years

goes backquite a while, but it was to do with attendances, people staying at home to watch game, so FA stopped it (or didnt start it), try going to the FA website, may have info there?
i believe they were going to introduce it at one point, but would be pay-per-view, and probably silly money, but havent heard about it for a while

We do here in Singapore, but I think in the UK it's something about Sky Sports and their schedule.
