I don't know how to make one plus one equal three but i can make one plus one equal one, draw two lines like a V where they intersect equals one then it's just one line straight down from there. there for one plus one equals one. In this manner it could be look upon as equaling three( >- ) Three lines in total. this is the only way I can see one plus one to either equal one or three it depends on the eye of the beholder.

Never. 1 + 1 will never equal 3. It always equals 2. It is an axiom. An axiom is a statement that cannot be proved. It is an accepted universal truth.
(1*2/3) + (1*1/3) = 3 though
