I'm looking for a music box that will play the song you can't always get what you want by the rolling stones. I know that sounds weird but it's a very personal gift for my little sister. I've seen lots of sites that have "custom" music boxes but you have to choose from their list and of course they don't have that song. Does anyone know a company that will use any song you want in their music box?

You may have to settle for one of those stuffed toys that comes with a digital recorder in it, and play the song into the recorder.

Have you ever seen how a music box works? It's fascinating. There's a little metal cylinder with bumps on it. It's placed near a row of little metal tabs, all different thicknesses so that each tab, when struck, plays a specific note. The bumps on the cylinder are arranged so that when the cylinder is turned and the bumps strike the tabs, a song comes out. I suppose you could hire someone to solder the right bumps on a cylinder to make that song come out, or learn how to build music boxes so you can do it yourself. I have a hunch most of the cylinders are factory-molded nowadays.
