Self awareness is the key to it. Even in our own dreams, self-awareness in the more pure form is what we experience, though the memories of our own selves is hazy compared to other visuals.
This simple looking question is quite deep enough ! What if we were able to trigger a dream in another person ? Then whose dream is it ? The other person may retain its memories, but usually refers to the dream , saying " such-and-such a person 'appeared' in my dream and said thus..." .... we hear stories of such type too.... hence the confusion.
Only a person who happens to deepen the perception level way beyond the sense organs can possibly experience the clarity, but will still struggle to convey it, surrounded by logical-limited recipients !

Or, we could be a ball in a game of tennis being played by some humongous giant creatures, or suspended in the spit of some poor, homeless creature wandering around the streets in some far off universe, let your imagination run wild. lmao

Accept what you DO know. Don't worry about "what if's".

that's an interesting question. i've thought about that before, and it just twirls my mind around in confusion. i don't really think there is an actual answer to that question. there might be, but if there is then i dont know what it is. to me it is possible that all life could just be a dream, or something a long those lines.

Reality is not an either/or choice. If you want to wake from a nightmare, you will anyway, it just takes time. If you want to wake up from reality, then you must know the source of yours. Who is the constructivist. Do you not have a share in its making.

U cant be sure, but the probability that we're living in a surreal world is lesser than that of living in a real world.
