They deserve more than just a pat on the back.
OLman n the pro ranks can at least make it 2 the playoffs or Pro Bowl or at best, help win a Super Bowl. N college very few play on a winning or championship team w sum hoping 2 make it 2 the pros.
I was reminded that OT Orlando Pace with the St. Louis Rams was an overall #1 draft pick. That’s a good thing; however, consider all the OLmen that sit around til the later rounds as teams vie for the Heisman winner, Heisman candidates & other players at the so-called skill positions forgetting that w/o intelligent, fast & strong OLmen those so-called skill players woodn’t b able 2 accomplish many of the things that they do.
I don’t know much about being an OLmen & the little that I could tell u wood subtract from 1000 characters allowed 2 detail Q.
If u can, I suggest u find a coach or OLman & ask him 2 explain requirements & duties of the various OL positions.
U’ll b surprised.
Kudos 2 ALL OLmen past & present, peewee ball up 2 the pros.
