The best "reply" would be for the guy to look at his behaviour leading up to the "d**k**d. If you are of school age, then that is how children communicate - by throwing meaningless insults at each other. If you are an adult and you've done something abominable, then you may have brought the insult on yourself. Go within and you'll find the answer. If you get insulted on a daily basis, then I would definately say: "reassess".
If you were insulted for no honest apparent reason, then let it go. The girl is not well and replying back will only open the door to more headache.
It all really depends on your relationship with this person and why you were insulted.

Laugh it off. Most of the time they would expect a reply. It eats them up inside when you don't call them something back.

well, when a guy is hot, he is "hot" like sexy and really attractive. if a girl says that a guy is "cute" he looks really good and her is more than likely a nice guy. also, if a girl tells a shy guy that he's cute, it means that the girl is pretty much shy too, but it depends. most of the time, when a girl says that a shy guy is cute, she really likes the guy.
