My bestfriend "Vanessa" recently approached me about a problem. She told me when she was 15, she lost her virginity to her stepbrother. She said she was drunk at the time and her stepbrother has repeatedly told her over the years that he is in love with her. She is thinking of marrying him and said that if I say it's okay she'll marry him, and if I say no she'll refuse. She is putting an enormous decision about her in my hands. I've tried telling her that I won't make that decision for her, and she told me she'll never talk to me again if I don't by the time the week ends. What should I do?

I actually had a friend who married her stepbrother. Actually there is no blood relations there.

But she should never put such a decision on you. Tell her you want what makes her happy. She needs to decide this big decision on her own.

Good Luck!

I say do what you think that it is right for her. If there is now blood relations then that's really not like a kissing cousin or kissing stepbrother in this case. just do whats right. and let her make the decision

Call her bluff.

If she is unable to make decisions without you, how long do you think she's going to last not talking to you? This isn't something you should be involved in. Frankly, this isn't something she should be involved in either.

Ok ok.... A true friend never makes a friend do something to be her friend... you need to say that it is none of your desios and that you wont make ot for her, if she says she wont be your friend dont say anything and leave.. she is not a tru friend.

You shoul tell her that is totallty irresponible and not to marry her step-brother just because "he says" that he loves her.
