no guy, he basically harm stoudemire's mvp race. I mean stoudemire dont look after yet he became into extremely interior the run for mvp. MVP isnt about just scoring points. you have to be the key player to a team that is one of the top 10 in the league. melo is good, but the nuggets arent exactly a dominant force in the western conference. the all star game is completely different though. unless ron artest does, he will not only make the all star game, but start for the western team, no question. but he wont getr mvp because he scores a lot but does alright in most other things, has ok defense, and unless the nuggets win 60 games, he wont get it.

He should most def be in the all star game because hes the leading scorer in the NBA with 30 ppg but im not sure he can get MVP, maybe in a year or two
