Perhaps the hidden message of this date in history is the assassination of President Kennedy. His rise to the presidency removed the religious stigma that was evident for years. His independence from party doctrine ended up getting him killed. The people were primed to take him and Jackie into their hearts by the media. That was the beginning. Nov 22,1963 ended the make believe presidency. The conspiracy which removed him from office was worked out between the democrats, republicans and underworld. Johnson despised Kennedy and his brother. Nixon wanted the presidency and the generals wanted a free hand to get back to a shooting war. The result was an assassination. The political games that started back then still greatly influence the US.

On Friday, November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was shot as he rode in a motorcade through the streets of Dallas, Texas. At his death, the 35th president was 46 years old and had served less than three years in office. During that short time, Kennedy and his young wife, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, became immensely popular both at home and abroad.

Your annoyance reflects a conviction of the truth that you do not welcome. You have correctly identified the sticking point. If you do not forgive you show that you have not received the new life that shows you have been forgiven. You cannot do it, that is the point. Only by the life of Christ indwelling can it be lived as you read. Then you need Him indwelling, which is what He died for, and He does not give Himself until you give yourself to Him. He will not, indeed cannot share His life with the old sinful life. So you need a new life, His life, which is received by His work through repentance and faith. Of course this demands a yielding up of the old life, the natural life, the sinful life. You have His word, the Bible which has brought you so far. Continue and seek God. It is not by rules and you striving to be perfect but by living by, and learning to live by, a new perfect life received from Him. You speak of the trials of life but they are common to us all. You wonder about feeling a fool and people treating you like crap. Two things here. Firstly, isn't that how Christ was treated, and is now treated and how we have all treated Him at the least by our ignoring of Him and His sufferings for us? Secondly, isn't it worth it to receive the very life and knowledge of God, and the glory of eternal life in His presence? Besides there will always be some people who will treat you like that however you are. So how serious are you? Will you pursue God to find Him? If so continue to seek Him through the Bible and not through men and churches. Or are you just wanting to use the Bible for help with a problem but you want to continue your own life regardless? Your call.
