I agree with Mashugana, and cdn... Linksys is good.
DONT BUY NETGEAR!!!
Linksys used to not be so great, but they got bought by CISCO one of the worlds leading technology and science companies in computers, they now own Linksys and produce its features as well as its chips. I have yet to see a linksys go bad or not give someone what they want.
Linksys is the best and easiest I have ever used.

The specific product you need is this

It runs about 50 bucks I think.
You can plug in 4 computers at a time with a physical wire, however up to 100 wireless people could connect ( which will never happen )
It has exaclty 5 ethernet ports (no routers have usb ports)
1 ethernet port for the DSL or CABLE internet to plug into,
4 Ports for 4 computers, or if you have the new type printer it has an ethernet in it that can plug into the router.
NOTE:
They do not make routers with USB in them...
If you have a USB printer and thats the only way it can connect
you can actually connect the printer to a computer,
connect the computer to the router,
and share that computers printer through the router,
that way all computers that connect to the router either wirelessly or wired are able to use the printer :)

I would agree with the majority of the people here a Linksys router is a way to go! The new Linksys N series is great, in this unit they've greatly increase the range, and it runs at 108 MB which is twice as fast as the old 54 MB. The only thing it's lacking is the USB port you'll have to hook up a wireless link to run your printer.

You will find all of them have some negative reviews, but im with Virgin Media and i have the linksys with speedbooster that i got from pc world for 39.99 and while ago (i think there even cheaper now) and it works great and it is very easy to setup the instructions are well detailed. I did have a d-link router before and it was really annoying! i kept having a really bad lag spike (fast then slow fast the slow etc..) so i went to the shops and brought the linksys and havent had any problems yet :) If i had to get another one i would choose linksys !

I have a D-link router and I don't think I would buy another one. I haven't been able to get my Dell linksys wireless security camera to work with the device. Other wise it works fine.

I recommend Netgear because the simple reason is that they are simple. They provide technical support if you have any trouble connecting with your network.
