xbox 360 **gears of war**???

is it worth buy an xbox 360 for gears of war?? if i dont have a hd tv how are the graphics with gears of war??????

My husband is playing this game currently, he really likes it and says it is well worth buying a 360 for. I agree, although I have not played it very much, I have watched though.

We don't have an HD tv, but the graphics are really good. You will not be disappointed, at least I don't think so.

YES. Oh My Gosh it is so worth it!!
We've already beat the "casual" level...on our way to completing the harder level...
Graphics are pretty good, however, at times it does seem a bit grainy, and often dark. Sometimes hard to see exactly, especially if a light is on and reflecting on the tv.

Keep in mind though (we bought a 360 for Gears, so from first hand exp), you're definitely gonna be dropping a lot of dough on this purchase, check out Circuit City, they have an excellent 30 day policy on refunding the difference if you find a better price.

Oh yea, dont forget Fear!! And Halo 3!

And also, unless you get one with the hard drive (which can also be bought for 99) you can't play original xbox games or save your data (memory cards run 40 - we got ours from target) Just thought you might like to know

Man gears of war looks like a lot of fun - i don't own the game but i own a 360

I'm thinking about that one too. I saw a video clip of gears of war and it looks interesting

i'm not into first person shooters but halo 3 is coming out and gears of war looks good too...

i wish x box live feature for x box was free or at least a lot cheaper than it is because you could play with people online.

I dont have HDTV man, but my 360 looks pretty good. U should definately get Gears of War.

p.s.- could anyone tell me where to get cheap HDTV's? I happen to be looking for some. Under 1000$ would be helpful.
