As having 3 pregnancies myself, each one was different, just as every woman is different.

I can tell you that in my 1st and 2nd pregnancy I didnt have any type of contractions. My 3rd now I did get braxton hicks in my 3rd tri-mester.

It is not necessarily that you will have them or you won't. If you have any concerns consult your doctor.

You have contractions throughout your whole pregnancy, but don't usually feel them until you are in the 2nd half of your pregnancy. Your stomach will get hard, and you may feel a bit uncomfortable. I used to get several a day but they were never painful. They are just practice contractions really.
