good question...
mugwort is a sister in the artemesia genus. named after artemis, the goddess of wisdom and the wild --- a form of the goddess handed down to the greeks from the neolithic era. She is a dreamwalker. As well as a huntress. Associated with the Amazons.
Many many of the artemesias are associated with dream walking and dreams --- from many different cultures all over the world!!!
The Lakota Souiz Sacred Sage is actually an artemesia. The Medicine Man (Yuwipi person) lays on a bed of sacred`sage when traversing the worlds. The Sacred`Sage is used to smudge and clense spiritually.
Southernwood is another artemesia. This was used by the Crones of non-christian Europe for dream visioning. When the Inquisition killed most of the Crones and their younger sisters, we lost almostall of the original European herbal lore. So very little is known of the uses of Southernwood ---- today it has been handed down hear-say that if you place a twig of southernwood under your pillow, then you will dream of a deeply kindred spirit.
Wormwood ---another artemesia sister --- is the source of Absynth, the drink that the romantic poets (Byron, Keats, Shelly, etc) used to enhance vision. It was so dangerous if used improperly that it has been made illegal.
Wormwood was grown in all of the oldest synagogues. It was a sacred herb throughout Palestine. John the Baptist used it in his work with Lepers --- and one of its names is St John's Girdle. Father Damien --- the Jesuit who helped the Lepers on Molokai in Hawaii in the 1800s --- also used Wormwood thousands of years after his elder brother John The Baptist for the very same thing. I know, because I found a huge patch of the true Palestinian Wormwood in a meadow at the edge of the ocean where the Leper Colony of Damien is.
It is Southernwood more than mugwort that is used for dreampillows. mugwort is also a powerful and dangerous nerve herb. though drinking it is okay to some extent. it is considered a good digestive and it is a nerve tonic and a good way to rid yourself of parasites and unhealthy things in your intestine. Mugwort is the herb the chinese system uses for moxibustion --- which is a form of acupuncture where-in smoldring balls of mugwort are used instead of needles. This balances subtle energies and is used in healing the physical, emotional and mental body.
Which indicates that perhaps the dream body and the physical body are the very same --- but it might be what the mind believes that allows us to only see one level or another. Dreamwalkers see both levels as one. Dream and stone are, after all, comprised of the very same nectre --- whether you believe that the cosmos eminates from the breath of the goddess or from the original moment of singularity, dream and stone are both comprised of this substance.
French Tarragon is also an artemesia and a wonderful herb to cook with!!!!!

My sister has drank mugwort tea on at least a couple occasions and gotten high off it. It didn't cause poisoning or anything. But it's not something you'd want to drink regularly.
I have heard of it used for dreams but I've never heard or read of any experiences of people actually doing so. Try it and see what it does for you.

A lot of times, amulets and stuff of that nature are really to trick the mind into thinking "Ok, I've got mugwart under my pillow, I guess that means I'll remember my dreams."
I always say a lil chant (not really witchcraft or anything) and let myself relax while I stare at a candle.
As far as visions, I believe that ALL dreams are a vision of some sort. Either of what has happened, what is happening, or what will likely happen.
And trying to decipher exact meanings can be tricky, just try to remember the emotions you experience while in the dream, and the overall theme.
Hope this helps!

All are already saved they the place saved over 2000 years in the past, that's accepting Salvation in the process the Redeemer the Lord Jesus Christ . I trust you they could be scripturally sound, yet from my very own journey in the process the working of the Holy Spirit, there is incredibly some cleansing out and in case you at the instant are not careful you will possibly be led off track and tempted by your very own interpretation as a substitute of searching for the fullness of His fact and be conscious, the very center of fact. I nonetheless after 3 years wait and contemplate and seek for conformation of issues I pay attention and notice in solidarity with the Lord until now even discussing it with all of us and that's constantly my husband first. We examine scripture I pray greater I ask and He shows me and tells me in many, many different techniques and by others. some issues are even to lots for clarification. How do you clarify turning out to be bodily ill (throwing up, trembling, no longer being waiting to respire, etc...) at the same time as in prayer, solidarity and meditation of the final Supper and the Crucifixion of Christ on the circulate. I see what he shows me, I pay attention what he says, I bodily react to it, How do you clarify that. i've got on no account examine any of the failings in that link so i've got not got an opinion of them. he's looking His toddlers. God Bless.

Yes it can, but you can also train yourself to remember your dreams by keeping a dream journal on your bedside table and writing them down as soon as you wake up. Over time you will be able to retain more of the symbology in your dreams.
