he removed even the 2 white plastic things that hold the black square key, how do i put them back? it's dv5120us hp pavillion.

I have seen that happen in many laptops. They haven't been fixed, but maybe super glue, most of the time if you just hit the stub where the key used to be(like you're just typing) it will work. Or call the HP support number, it will be in your information booklet you got with it. It takes a while to talk to them and its hard to understand, or you can email them. Link is on their website.

Some times they will just snap back in if you press down on them, if not there is a rubber cup under the key a small plastic frame that has a hing, make sure the hinged frame is back on the board and the rubber cup is in the center with the bell facing down, then lay the key over the frame and push down should snap back into place, unless the frame is broken, the best place for a good used keyboard is E-bay....
