How can I convert an AV cable to a cardbus?

I want whatevers cheepest. I want somthing to use somthing like a vcr or game console to my laptop just to use the monitor.

The cost of what your trying to do is not worth it, the easy way to do what you want is buy a USB TV converter, about $45 or even cheaper, install it, then plug your video cable RCA jack on the converter,run the TV scan with your game console plugged in and you should have the screen on your laptop and just set it for full screen, or better yet use your TV and or VCR.... But if you do what i said you can also use your VCR to your laptop for converting VCR movies on to DVD's... Cool
