I used to tell my kids dont go playing in the road, if a car hits you and you'r dead don't come running crying to me.
How thick is that, cannot believe i ever said that now.
My sister used to say to her kids, I'll throw you with a stone, nother silly thing to say, we still mock her.

My first classic has to be "are you awake"?
The next one was if one of my Kids had said somethng they shouldn't have, I'd then say to them "excuse me! what did you just say"? stupidly getting them to actually repeat the words they were about to get told off for.
Now they're grown up with Kids of their own, they often get together & have a laugh at the daft things I'd say at times.
I haven't changed much!!!!
