MICHIGAN
No other team has even come close to giving them a game.
Michigan had a chance to win, however slim, considering how porous their defense was...(no way that anyone, ....I don't care what you say on the Internet, or to your friends, thought that Michigan's defense would play that bad, ....or OSU's for that matter)
USC LOST to a very bad Oregon State team, Florida LOST to a not at all good Auburn team, Arkansas LOST....
BAD to USC, NOTRE DAME LOST VERY BADLY....... AT HOME to Michigan.
MICHIGAN LOST to the # 1 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY, AT OSU, BY 3 POINTS.......3 POINTS, THE DAY AFTER THEIR MOST CELEBRATED COACH IN HISTORY DIED.
They would never consider using that as an excuse, not that they would think of that as an excuse.
Make no mistake....OSU is the best team in the country.
BUT...... if you people want a national championship game with the two bet teams in the country playing each other, then the two best teams in the country should be playing each other.
Michigan plays OSU again....UM's defense holds Troy Smith to 270 yds. passing 65-75 yds rushing.
Antonio Pittman/Chris Wells....85-90 yds rushing.
Ted Ginn/ Anthony Gonzalez....190 yds. rec.
Michael Hart....160 yds. rushing, 65 yds. rec.
Mario Manningham....170 yds. rec.
Chad Henne....285-300 yds. passing.
Adrian Arrington...75 yds rec.
Steve Breaston 225 TOTAL YARDS.
Final score 24-20 Michigan..............

The winner of the SEC title game. Ohio State has never beaten an SEC team in a bowl game. 8 tries and 8 losses.
