If USC wins out their last 2 games (Notre Dame and UCLA), Michigan won't even get the chance because it will be Ohio State and USC for the championship. I see exactly that happening.

Why wouldn't it be fair if Michigan won, and was named outright national champion?
They played (AT OHIO STATE), OSU won 42-39.......3 points.
Ask any sports book......the home team gets 3 points automatically, why.......because they are at home.

If you happen to be a proponent of a playoff, then why wouldn't Michigan be named national champion if they lost to OSU in the regular season (which has been the last game for each of them every year since 1935 except 1942 ( WWII - and when they have played Hawai'i ), then beat them in the national championship game....should they then "share" the title?.......Do you think that it then should be the same way in basketball, hockey, wrestling, field hockey, softball, baseball..........??
