yes a goalie can pick it up if he/she kicks it in thier box. as long as the other team was the last to touch it before the goalie picks it up.

Outdoor no. Indoor yes. After the golie kicks the ball, it must touch something else before he can pick it up (Cant be the goal). Indoor it is possible because he can play it off the wall. Outdoor it is not possible because there is no wall

Yes, they can, though its rare, i've seen it before, the goalie is scrambling to the ball and instead of clearing it he dribbles it into the box and dives on it

yes..goalies can pick up the ball anywhere inside of the box..even if they kick it there.

I am picked last not because I am fat, slow, or lazy but because I am shy and afraid to demonstrate my skills at kick ball. I suggest you let your wife kick some OTHER balls for practice. Bet you give her some good advice then!
