ok this is what i think you should do...
one at a time, sit them down with you. tell them straight up that you are having a party and both of them are going to be invited. let them know how hard it is to keep up a friendship with them if all they do is continue to fight and argue all the time, and put out a choice for them to make. tell them that if they want to go to your party, they better kiss and make up. and that if they dont, then neither of them is invited. and if they get upset about it, tell them "if you cant suck it up for one night with each other for ME, then why should i do something fun and nice for you?".
ive been through the SAME thing and what i realize is that if they have respect for you, they'll settle thier differences for YOUR night. try it, it could do some good and in the end, they might stop fighting.

Tell them how much it would mean 2 u 4 your b-day that they both come and that they don't have 2 talk 2 each other but try 2 stay out of it and if they ask u 2 come hang out with 1 of them, tell them u r already hanging out with someone and try 2 get everyone 2 hang out with someone except your 2 friends. Then they will have 2 hang out with each other or not hang out at all with anybody. But remember that it is best not 2 get 2 involved with it because they might turn the whole thing out on u and become bff's!!!
good luck and happy b-day!!!!!!!!! !_!

invite them both and let them deal with it. It's your birthday...they should be mature enough to put their differences aside while you enjoy your birthday. depending on why they hate each other, be prepared for one or both of them to decline your offer (but don't be offended by their choice - there may be a very good reason for them not to be friends with each other). Let them know that the other has been invited and see what happens. Enjoy your birthday!

Tell them both straight up that if they cant grow up and get along then your not going to stick around and deal with it. And in order to be a true friend they would understand and get over there issue but if there not thats where you have to let them go because you dont want to bestuck in that drama. You can always find a new friend. Trust me there is plenty of people in the world.

Tell them that your best birthday gift would be for them to make up and be friends again. Or else it'd ruin your birthday, and you'd have to choose a side or something. That would stink.

tell them that they both are invited and heck one can stay in one corner and the other can stay in the other.. if they are grown adults they would be there for you tell them to save their tempers for each other for a rainy day this is your day.
