The short answer is yes, but why would you? People used to work things out by communicating with one another. Now, it seems that when someone gets their feelings hurt or doesn't get their way about something the first thing they want to do is find a lawyer and file a lawsuit. I am not saying that you may not have grounds for a lawsuit, but frankly I think there are better ways in which to handle a situation such as this.
To begin with what have you done to try and resolve this within the corporate structure? Most companies have an internal method of dealing with this type of situation. I would exhaust all avenues within the company before jumping on the lawsuit bandwagon. If it were me and I could not resolve the situation within the company I would find another position with another company. If you file a lawsuit against your employer you probably won't have a job with the company. If you were able to keep the job it probably would not be a good environment in which to work.

Absolutely. First, make sure you utilize your company's complaint system. Get in touch with human resources, or speak to you supervisor about how to lodge complaints (unless the complaint is against your supervisor, then go over their head). Next, follow through with the entire complaint process, making sure to keep copies of all paperwork. You may want to write down what happens to you right after it happens, or as soon as you can, so you don't forget any details. Remark about the date, time, and anyone who may have overheard what happened. Don't openly discuss your complaints with coworkers. People are blabbermouths, and you don't want to start a big controversy in the office before all involved parties get to tell their stories in the proper forum. Don't worry, if they're in the wrong, and you're willing to fight, you CAN win.
If you don't get the result you wanted with your company's internal remedy process, that's when it's time to take your issue to a lawyer. Do some research on the lawyers in your area, go to some consultations, and when you find one that you can trust, run with it! You have the right to work in a safe, non-threatening environment.

Sexual harrasment is illegal and all companies should have laws against it. So tell who ever is making the comments that you are offended. Once you have put them on notice they need to cease their comments. If they don't then report them to your boss and file a formal complaint and continue doing so until you get to the top of the company. If they don't do something to stop it then you can sue.

An African American hearth fighter in CA only gained various million $$ simply by fact his white coworkers positioned dogs nutrition in his nutrition and laughed on a similar time as he ate it. If he can win thousands and thousands for being a damaging game, I determine everybody can win something. yet once you're considering it, you may desire to think of roughly your individual destiny, in spite of if in a similar company or attempting to discover a clean activity. each so often while somebody claims sexual or racial discrimination, it relatively is to cover the certainty that they at the instant are not very stable at their activity-- if everybody criticizes them, they declare discrimination, and the courts have been sympathetic. in case you win the thousands and thousands, you do not ought to difficulty approximately conserving your activity, yet once you do not... in case you settle directly to sue, make certain which you do have documented the incidents, have witnesses, and checklist it internally first. stable success!!

Sure, but once you do you'll be labelled as a trouble maker and no one would want to hire you.
So if you're going to sue, make it damn worthwhile.
