I haven't found a web site that lists a date of death for him.

If his full name is Taddeo Bruno de Simone, he was a part of an opera cast in June 2006, so he was alive at that time.

He narrated a film in 1994 - under the name of just Taddeo Bruno.

Synopsis
Documents a retrospective exhibition of the paintings of Italian painter Taddeo Bruno (b.1935) at the Cassamarca Foundation in Treviso, Italy in September, 1994. Although he was born in Rome, Bruno lived in Argentina until the political situation forced his return to his native land. He now lives in the Veneto region. The artist conducts the viewer on a tour of the exhibition and offers his commentary. Titled "La Doppia Memoria" (Two-fold Memory), this exhibition focuses attention on Bruno's "Muros" paintings: oil rendering of walls of rooms and houses--sometimes with objects or persons in front of them. He explains that his intention was to induce meditations on the physical and social dimensions of the viewer's surroundings.

Comments
Offers a look at the work of an artist currently painting in the romantic, neo-naturalistic style. Cinematography and editing are amateurish but reproduction of the paintings is fairly good. Will be of interest to art students and it could be used to accompany exhibitions of Bruno's paintings. (Staff)
