Evryone is so shocked at what he said. do you think that if it was white people heckling him he would have yelled? and if he called them 'cracker' would there have been such an uproar?

As bad as his comment was what about towards the end of the incident when they called him a "Cracker" and a "F**cking Whiteboy" And I havent heard anything about their apology's for their racist remarks yet..

It's a double standard! The fact that rappers say the "N" word (No I don't use it!!) all the time!! And you hear all these little hip hop clowns refer to themselves as it again every other word...I have no problem with the fact that he snapped and called them something they probably refered to themselves as all day long anyway....It was the comment that precipitated it

"If it was 50 years ago you'd be hanging upside down with a fork in your a*s" That blew my mind...

Something like that just doesn't roll off your tongue unless you've thought about it before..That was unbelievably offensive and crossed every line there was to cross in my mind!! The dudes career has been dead for years. So I can't even say he buried himself with that comment...But he sure let people know where his mind lies..He's racist no if's ands or buts about it

Yes. He was heckled and lost his temper. If he can't take the heat - get off the stage. He's not even a standup comic. He's more a serious actor - that's what J. Seinfeld said. THat he would rehearse and rehearse his silly moves on the Seinfeld show like entering Jerry's apt. He needs to apologize to those people and lay low for a long time. He knows liquour was being served, and he should have know this could happen.. Keep your Kool, Kramer!

Kramer probably would have heckled white people back but, not called them names because of their skin color.
If Kramer was a black comic screaming "He's a whitey!! He's a cracker!!" to some white hecklers, he'd be fighting off the movie and book deals right about now.
So now Kramer and Bravehard are history. They should make a movie called "We Hate The People Who Made Us Celebrities."

First of all he was at a comedy club, most of us know that hecklers and crowd interaction are common place in those types of venues. Secondly, I dont think anyone would have said anything had he just said something witty back to them, rather they were white or black. To attack someone's race immediately is absurd. And to say that you are not racist is troubling because, yeah if you were angry thats one thing...but why is your bigotry a symptom of your anger? Ranting about hanging black people from trees is on another level...that is not fairy tale, those are terrible moments from our not so distant history. But with ALL of that said, the most disturbing of all is that most who chose to answer this question deflected it on the hecklers...not on the nasty, racist, troubling words that came out of this "celebrity's" mouth.

absolutely, he just wanted to perform his comedy, doing his job
and was rudely interrupted by these hecklers. I wonder where management
was at the time of this incident.....they seem to have disappeared
when needed the most......and let this escalate uncontrollably
hecklers of any color should be
removed immediately from any performance....

I think he was ready to "rant"' and would have gone off no matter who the hecklers were. It may not have been as vile if the hecklers had been white.

He ranted because he was overly irritated and would have lashed out at anybody. How do you lash out at somebody you know nothing about. The only thing he knew about them was they were black and he lashed out.

YES I DO THINK HE WOULD OF YELLED BACK IF THEY
WERE WHITE. IT'S RUDE TO INTERRUPT SOMEONE DOING
A SHOW. AND WE ALL WERE NOT THERE, WE DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL WAS SAID. I THINK THERE IS MORE TO IT
I THINK THE TWO GUYS SAID MORE THAN JUST "YOUR NOT FUNNY" . AND WHEN HE WAS SAYING HE WAS SORRY, LOOKED MORE LIKE HE WAS SCARED. BUT I DO THINK THE TWO GUS ARE JUST AS GUILTY.
