I ask this because I always thought you needed some kinks or naps to anchor the cornrow to your head. It's that reason that if you get your hair braided too soon after your relaxer, they only last 3 or 4 days.

The only people that I think should even consider wearing cornrows is black people. It looks so ugly on a white people every time I see it I want to punch them in the face. I'm a white chick and wouldn't ever consider getting cornrows. I think they are cute on black people though.
Especially when they do awesome designs too.

I'm white and can do white and black peoples hair in cornrows. Its basically the same, just white peoples hair you got to know what your doing and you need hair spray cuz it will stay in for a couple days longer. You don't need weave for cornrows and kinks in a white persons head cuz usually their hair is long enough. But you know how black girls get trax well white girls can get extentions but it costs a lot of money!!! Black and white peoples head isn't so different!

Well, when i get my hair cornrowed i get it done by my friend and she is a mixed girl or i get it done by my other friend and shes white. Usually my hair is straightened when i get it done and they don't have any problems i just use gel or mouse and they stay for 2 - 3 days, but the longest was 4 days with washing them in the shower. But the best people can braid any kind of hair and make it stay.

my sister has done my hair in cornrows and she does it the same for me as she does for black girls. I also used to have my neighbor, who is black, do my stepdaughters hair in cornrows. And despite what all these other jerks say, white girls and asian girls and indian girls, and any other girls that want to can have cornrows, its just a hairstyle. That would be like saying black girls shouldn't straighten their hair or asian girls shouldn't dye their hair red or blonde. Its a matter of preference and taste, not color or race. My cornrows have always stayed in as long as I wanted them to.

The same way everyone's else do they hair maybe have a different techinque and style but they do it the same way because they are a different race dosen't nessacery mean that they dont know how to cornrow they hair long,straight,short,curly,wazy and frizzy it gets done the same way

people can cornrow there hair no matter what texture it is.....people with fine hair might have a little trouble but other than that you do it the same way you braid anyone else's hair. and with relaxed hair i think if you do it too soon it would damage the hair since relaxers are already so damaging that the pulling of the braides might break the hair

Well I seen a white person get theit hair done in cornrows its just like black people get theirs done I even seen a white person get their hair done in micro braids but it didnt look right & if you ever watched flavor flave one of his dates got their hair done in cornrows

i'm not sure, but i have seen white people with cornrows. they usually get them done at the beach and they end up with sunburn on their scalp!
