I agree with you BabyDoll.. It does not seem like Thanksgiving to me but for me, it's because my world has completely changed after almost 30 years..when my parents died, a couple of years apart, and then my aunts and uncles followed, my world was turned upside down. Holidays for me was always a time to travel north to Michigan or South to Alabama - now I have no reason to travel - none of them are there anymore. Sometimes, if I think about it long enough, I get sad - the holiday is just not the same - the people are who make the time beautiful and it has been hard for me to bounce back and find other things to make the day special. I spend the time alone, most of the time. My birthday is around Christmas and this is really a time when I should be excited, and I guess I am in a way, but I truly miss my family.

It don't seem like Thanksgiving to me. It just seems like another day. I miss when I was a child and the holidays would come around I loved that.

Yes! it's almost christmas and I'm not even started counting down the days yet. I always used to start in the beginning of november, I'm probably too old to do that now. anyways, it totally doesn't feel like the holidays yet.

you dont HAVE to get your tree in a week. You could wait till any time between now and the 24th that seems appropriate to you.

Yeah, time flew by very fast. I have no problem with it though because I'm a senior in High School. I love it when time flies by!

Its dosent seem like it to me either....its kind of sadd....but i am happy about the christmas tree thats my fav. part of the year....but tomorrow feels like another dayy not a special one....
