cracker is very benign.. not terribly offensive. I have no idea where it came from other than perhaps crackers are generally white.. That is really a very hurtful comparison isn't it? LOL But wouldn't it be nice if we could just recognize people for who they are versus the color of their skin? Maybe some day we will get past that.... I hope so.

I laugh at the term because it's so stupid and outdated. It's hard for me to be a "cracker" when I've never even touched a whip, let alone hit a black person with one.

I'm half black half irish and they call me cracker because my skin is pink.I'm even lighter than mariah carey.But you know people are ignorant and stupid so I don't get offended anymore.I think most people have a little racism even though they won't admit it.

I'm not offended by the term "cracker," but I think that the term N**** is offensive, when used with the ending of gger....my husband is black and we call eachother ***** (gga) all the time. It's fine. JMHO.

i think the word n***** is used to show luv to ur friends or to show hate to people. it depends how u use it. and the same thing to the word cracker.
