Tv has brainwashed our entire population. Women and men dress like the characters on television, they buy I pods shop at target and walmart and buy things they don't really need. All anyone ever talks about is current events from the television. Have you forgotten that TV is about ratings, why do we depend so much on TV for our information. The news is about ratings not giving you "just the facts" or the truth. Do we not want the truth. 90% of the world hates the U.S. and thats not just terrorists, is there a valid reason why most of the world disagrees with our governments actions and our war?

Americans have become money hungery rats. all I hear people talk about is money, how can i make some money, I want an expensive car, waa waa, I only buy jeans that cost over two hundred dollars waah, my shoes cost seven hundred dollars, I just bought a plasma screen TV, lets go to ikia, I think its pathetic, we have no ideologies any more and no moral standards or class, or manners, every one wants to act like rich people or what they think rich people act like and its pathetic. Where are the standards. all I see is over aggressive unintelligent men and women who make money and thats about all they are good for
This is somewhat of a serious question so any one who can not handle thinking about such a question need not comment, those who make jokes obviously are too ignorant to care about the future of our country, and there is nothing wrong with that, some people just don't have the cognative capacity to comprehend reality.

Firstly, the pure irony of AdventSatanists response is wonderful. "Go out and iscolate yourself" is EXACTLY what this culture does to people - with all the technology, it's a means of dividing and conquering. Think about it.

If you don't like it, go out and isolate yourself. Go on. If you can't handle technology, that is your loss. When the population advances, you must advance and adapt, otherwise you get left behind. What use are you to a producing company if you refuse to learn? What use are you if you don't accept that some people lie and others don't? Adapting is a kind of general rule with this world, and it happens in nature and in human thought. Get over it and live with it, and you will soon find that life is tough, and you will just have to keep moving, even if you don't like the way it is going.

yes yes yes and again YES! i cannot agree w/ you more. it seems that most americans, especially here in california are way too materialistic. beauty is based on tv. morals are based on tv. values, etc. we are all in a media trap and a good majority is falling for it. it's pathetic. also, look at how many ppl revolve their schedule around their fave tv shows? hello? don't you guys have your own lives to live? isn't your life a little more important? as for news reports and such, most of them are full of crap. most of you who are from a different country and have watched their news already know this. it is true, most other countrys do dislike america. why wouldnt they? america is great, sure, we can do a lot of things that people in most other countrys have difficulty achieving because of the way their country is run. but unfortunatly america also has a knack for abusing its privelages. seriously, i like your thinking. hit me back!
