I can answer him. I blame Bush partly for the high gas prices because for the most part he is giving his friends in the oil industry big tax breaks every year. As a republican his belief is if you give more tax breaks to the rich more jobs will be created and prices of things will be kept down. But has it? No. I don't think he cares that the gas prices are high. It just means more money for his friends. Exxon makes 79000 dollars a minute. That is outrageous. Though it is not exactly Bush's job to fix the outlandish prices and profits, it would be nice if it really was a concern. What has Bush done to help this crisis?

as quickly as something is going up we form of come to assume the adjustments. it relatively is not the 1st time it happens. below Bush it exchange into the 1st time we had glaring this variety of meteoric upward push, and for the rationalization that we've been at conflict in the priority, its not specific that we ought to blame the guy in fee. very just about that's what he will gets a commission for. Obama isn't blamed, simply by certainty we've been there, achieved that, and its the 2nd, or maybe the a million/3 time expenses have spiked. And we at the instant are not at conflict in any oil producing united states of america, Egypt is having political matters that should impact delivery, besides the undeniable fact that we don't look there so there is not any diplomatic reason we ought to blame it on Obama.

the pice of gas went up right after the enrgy advisor group, headed by cheney, the membership being the top executives of the oil and gas corporations determined the policy goals of the bush administration.
for your information, cheney was also involved with the unical aquisition of the oil and gas pipeline agreement with the taliban leadership prior to the overthrow of the taliban in 2002 in afghanistan. his former corporation, haliburton was the prime contractor in the construction of that pipeline from the regions north of kabul and southern russia.
bush's father, an advisor to the carlisle group, owned by members of the suadi royal family and the bib laden group, osama bin laden's father and brothers, the terrorist's source of wealth. with such wonderful friends, why did the bush administration not want the discussions of his energy policy developement group made public? what is he hiding? is his advisory group really setting policy for the nation, or for his friends?
finally, if they were setting policy, why did the price of oil rise so high so fast, and why did bush refuse to release some of the oil reserves to ease the pressure on the high prices instead of demandimg more oil go into the reserves? that just increased the oil prices, and hence gas prices you pay at the pump.
under clinton, a gallon of gas here was about 85 to 1.15 a gallon. under bush, it went up to as high as $5 a gallon in some areas, but has stayed around $3 a gallon, until the spring of this year when it went down to about 2.25 a gallon in hopes that the republican majority could continue after this years elections.
why shouldn't the public get answers? why does the administration continue to ignor them? it isn't just conservatives and liberals views that matter. it's also the lack of answers that go unanswered, that the liberalsa want answeres to questions.
it is the conservative politicians who won't talk that is so annoying. perhaps, with the dems in charhe of both houses of congress, that everyone's questions will be answered.

Because Rush won't listen if someone had an answer. In his mind he knows everything. Here's a guy who accused Michael J Fox of "faking it" when he appeared in ads advocating stem cell research. He claimed Michael J Fox did not take his meds, and obviously having no proof to back that up. (Not like himself, who obviously has no problem taking prescription meds). Rush isn't any more objective than the liberal media he blasts on his show.
I don't happen to think Bush has any power over gas prices. I don't think he has any power over the economy either -- it is determined more by the consumers (read: demand) and economic cycles. Funny, how Bush refuses to take credit for gas prices, put is quick to point out how well the economy is doing (as if he was the driving force over how people spendt their money).

Liberals did answer, perhaps you didn't want to hear it.

High fuel prices are a reality. If you want to continue to use Arab gasoline, that's your choice. Most Americans realize that it's time for cheaper, alternative fuel sources to become reality.

Because all liberals do is "stir up the pot" they never have any solutions. They can't answer the question regarding higher gas prices because it would involve studying simple economics which is, most certainly, something they do not understand.

Democrats know that they helped cause high gas prices when they banned oil drilling off-shore and in Alaska.
They want high gas prices.
It's an old commie trick, perfected in the Soviet Union:
"Cause a problem that you want to happen, and then blame the problem on someone else".
