its buffering. means you're on a slow connection, and the software is palying faster than what has been downloaded.

watch the progress bar. it tells you how much as downloaded.

Just hit pause and wati till it downloads fully, then watch when its done.

your internet connection speed isn't fast enough to stream the video live and has to load chunks at a time - this is what causes the video to keep stopping, it's ran out of video and is waiting for more to download.

if you have a fast internet connection you should make sure nothing else is downloading/using the bandwidth while you're trying to watch a video on youtube because this will also limit your ability to watch youtube stuff uninterrupted.

when on a youtube video, you should see a dark red bar climbing along the position bar to the right of the pause button - this is how much of the video has been downloaded to your pc. wait until the entire bar is dark red then play the video from the beginning - because it's being played from your computer this time, it won't stop.

as the others have already said, the videos take time to buffer/load, so if you want to watch the whole video without any interruptions, press the pause button and wait for the grey bar to fully turn dark grey, then press play and it will play entirely without stopping as the full clip will have been downloaded for you to watch. playing it straight away doesn't give it time to download and causes the interruptions

happy youtubing!!
