First of all, dreams are from our subconscious mind. Content is more important than color. However, if you remember your dream with colors. Those colors may have some meaning to it.

In your case, your subconscious mind make yourself think that scene in the dream are lively. It's coming out from your subconscious mind. Feeling real because you want it to,and sometimes we struggle to believe what we dream.

this happens to pp. i have had the same experience. maybe u had this one in color b/c it was more exciting or something. once i had a dream that there were flies down the back of my shirt, and i woke up with my musles contracting as if it tickled or whatever. it didn't stop until i was fully awake.

also i've had dreams about kissing boys, and it felt so....wonderful. and romantic. i felt how soft the guy's lips were. the weird thing? i've never been kissed before.

I dream in vivid detail every night. I don't think it means anything in itself, but it does make the whole sleeping experience far more interesting. Some people believe that the dream world is just as valid a plain of existance as reality. Just appreciate that you're living twice as much life.

Dreams are your subconcious mind sending you a concious mind a message. The ones that you remember (and/or are more vivid) are your sunconcious mind saying "HEY, I have a message for YOU, you really need to figure out what this ONE meant".

So analyze it. Remember, dreams are symbolic. What does the kid represent? Yourself? Something innocent about you? Something you have not paid attention to? Something special about yourself or someone else you haven't acknowledged?
