Notwithstanding all the negative and uninformed comments here, this is not even as hard or as expensive as you might think. It's possible to get an electric car conversion for as little as $5000, though you will probably spend a little more than that.

But some cars are easier to convert than others. It may make more sense to simply sell your existing car and buy or convert a more suitable candidate.

I drive an electric car myself. I drive it to work every day, and charge the batteries both at home and at work, so I always have enough battery power to do my daily driving. Electricity is very cheap, compared to gas, only about a penny per mile. Yes, really!

are you stupid? first off.. if this car is front wheel drive.. its almost impossible to make a electric car that can go any distance.. Because the motors will have to replace anything under the hood.. and batteries that would weigh a ton be placed in the back to be drug around....
not only will this be stupid.. but hella expensive.

there are no places right now that are doing this,the electric car is a unique car,and very light weight,yours is probably to heavy to consider doing this too,good luck,,i hope this help,s.
