Ok...I mean thinking about the names of kid(s) which you want to have in the future.

No. It's kind of fun. Like dreaming about your wedding. It's hard to pick names unless you know what the baby's last name will be though.

No its not weird, When I was your age I used to do the same. I also would think of me married with 13 kids. It was the white picket fence and a family that did everything together . But in reality, I had 3 children and it took 15 years to finally get my house. But I wouldn't change it for a million dollars. The memories of yesteryear still come back. None of my kids are what I picked.

I thought about the names of my kids at a young age. But when I was 16 I just knew what the name of my daughter would be and sure enough I had my daughter at 22 and that was the name I used. It is ok, to think about it, write it dream about it, but you never know it might change when you decide to have one. But dont have one too soon. I had my first at 19. Thinking about it is good, but wait until you are old enough!

No, it's kind of like planning your wedding when your 5. It's natural to think about the future. Then of course when you do finally have children you have some names that you like more than others, but you still have to work with the father on naming your child. So you may like one name but he may not. I'm going through this right now. I had names picked out when I was a child/teen but he doesn't like them. Have fun!

No, I did that in high school. I had a book with baby names from A-Z for my baby boy/girl. If only I could find that darn book now.

I do know what I want my son to be named (because my fiance and I want to have a son) and that name was chosen a long time ago (I'm 20 now). Don't have a definite girl name yet.

no, i do not think that is wierd at all. when I was 12 I was thinking about names of my children too. Because you are a teen you want to grow up so you have to think about something right :) Well, as long as you don't have kids until you are older thinking about the names is fine. Good luck in life.

lol. My mother bought me my first baby name book when I was about 7, and I spent the next couple decades thinking and dreaming about what I'd name my future children. I don't think it's strange at all. Studying names is a hobby for me and many other people. It's fun!

Not at all. I am 14 and I love the "name thing". I used to think people would look at me weird, but I know myself, and I know I will wait until I am happily married. I consider it in a way a "hobby"......but, I recently found my perfect names for my future kids....lol

I think it is perfectly normal, like writing your name as Mrs with the boy you like at the time--Mrs Harrison Ford, Mrs Joan Ford etc. I think back at what names I picked out as a child, then teen and then when I did have children, they were not the same. Also you may love a name now but they do not go with your husband's last name, like "Sarah" Lee, or "Frank" Stein, "May" Day or any other combination. It is fun to dream!

No, it's not wierd. I've thought of that here and there for 10 years.. and I'm 24 (with no kids). I think everyone does. There's nothing wrong with that- just don't think about having any yet
