Fate - 1) The power supposed to determine the outcome of events before they occur; destiny. 2) Something inevitable, supposedly determined by this power; hence. 3) What happens or has happened to a person; lot; fortune; as it was his fate. 4) Final outcome. 5) death; destruction; doom.....to destine.

SYN. - Fate refers to the inevitability of a course of events as supposedly predetermined by a God or other agency beyond human control: destiny also refers to an inevitable succession of events as determined supernaturally or by necessity, but often implies a favorable outcome.

I looked this up because I wanted to see the written definition, and no I did not cut and paste. Fate and destiny have very similar meanings.

My thoughts are that it is not up to us. It is, as it is written, predestined.

I suppose One could try, but I really feel that They would not be on the path They were intended to be on.

I often say, that with each decision We make in life, We choose either to go right or left at the fork in the road. If We choose all of the right decisions, We, in the end, wind up where We were intended to be. If not, We are lost...................................................
................................ Maybe that is what it means to deny fate.

You leave the door closed to have mistakes, failures, misunderstandings, wrong choices, you name it; with fate. Fate is a word that must be in the context of All Knowing. Can all men have fate? If so why is there divorce? Can all men have fate? If so why do some men marry men? Fate is a word I find hard to trust in because, the way things are fate is not the best way. Fate, is this good fate only or bad fate as well. Now my point lol Fate has no mind so to accept fate means to program your life. But what gives fate the right to barge into your life, fate was uninvited. I hate uninvited guests. So my friend deny fate and trust in God. Who is God? Fate that has a heart.

If it's fate, I really don't think that you have the option to deny it. It's fate, so it will happen.

Until people all think, act, and believe the same, there will never be world peace. The most peace we can expect from the world is the peace we give it because nobody else is giving any. You are absolutely correct in your assessment.
