I'm going to take the other course from my worthy colleague's answers. If you use a GPS, you will never find an outboard unit as good as the factory. And, as far as Acura is concerned, you wouldn't even come close to the end of its life if you drive 100,000 miles. As this car ages, the difference in the mileage will become negligible, but you will have a very fine GPS. I have never heard of them malfunctioning - I have 141,000 miles on my TL with GPS and it doesn't show any signs of wear and tear. If you rode in it, you would guess it has about 20,000 miles. I would never trade my GPS for an outboard unit, we have one for my wife's car and we both seriously detest it. I recommend the GPS equipped car. It will be worth more at trade in too.
