I agree completely.

What gets me is how ppl will quote unemployment rates.... being so uneducated on how the system works.

Unemployment rates are based on a 6 month cycle and if you have been out of work more than 6 months and NOT registered with the employment commission you do not count.

This is not even counting the 100,000s that lost their jobs then found new jobs but are working for way less than before.

You have been in a coma.
The economy is the best in decades.
The unemployment is the lowest in around 50 years.
Our pensions, 401ks, and the stock market are at all time highs.
AND WHAT COUNTRY DO YOU LIVE IN?
The only people who have missed out on this great economy are the welfare people.

If you see a broken down car in someones yard in the South it's because we are planning on fixing it someday, or we are using it for parts. We aren't snobs who tell our neighbors what they can have in their yard! Construction is booming in the South and unemployment is very low. If you are not working then you don't want to. make up false stories about our economy and maybe some of those who aren't willing to work for a living will believe you. Just saying the economy is bad doesn't mean you are speaking the truth.

First I checked to see if you are a troll . No you're not.
Next, I re-read your question to see if I missed something . I did not.

Finally, I'm left with guessing that some guy/gal really thinks this way .
The economy is no different than it was 2 weeks ago. (shaking my head as I type this)
You have got to be friggin' kidding.

Does this have anything to do with the election on Nov 7th?

Where I live, cooks on smoke break make fun of me when I bend over to pick up a quarter from the sidewalk - I'm not kidding!

When I visit parts of the South, everyone is broke. Cars are falling apart, etc.

Depends on where you live and who is doing the reporting.

EDIT: Southerners, I said PARTS of the South. I was born in Louisiana and when I go back to visit, things still look pretty bad in places.
