got my husband a Dallas Cowboys jacket and some cds and dvds he wanted. I don't re-gift per se - I keep them a while and pass them to someone who might use it, but not as a gift, just as a, 'here, you might like this' kind of thing.
Did your sister do that on purpose? That's kind of mean, if so!

Haha yes, I have been regifted and I have done the deed myself....I think that it is perfectly fine as long as it does not fall under these categories:
1. It has been used
2. It is not homemade, because the giftgiver that gave it to you used their heart and soul to make it special, and it cannot be repeated
3. It is very outdated
For christmas, I really want to save my money for rent and costs, so my friend and I are baking a HUGE batch of different varieties of christmas cookies, putting them in little sacks, and handing them out to friends :)

I hope to get cash and gift cards. I'll give whatever people ask for as long as I can afford it. I never regift, I do think it's wrong.

REGIFTING IS WRONG....
But I can't risk saying what I'm getting for my wife, she looks over my shoulder too often......
And I never know what I'm getting - that takes all the fun out of the holiday....

My entire family and I have agreed to completely do without the gift-giving aspect of x-mas. We just want to get together and have a nice meal christmas eve, and christmas evening. We are all so sick of the marketing corporations throw at people every single year: and it's just getting worse.

Giving Polk Audio speakers to my husband, Wii to my son, iPod to my daughter. Lobster gift cert to my Dad, antigue glass butter dish to my Mom along with Italian charm bracelet charms.....
I re-gift generic gifts like wine, candy etc... Its not wrong.
If its a personal gift, I would not re-gift.
