I recently signed up for a new MSN hotmail account and got very annoyed by the emails and ads from from MSN. All my friends are on Windows Live Messenger so I thought it'll just be easy to use hotmail. It's a free service and I know I shouldn't comlain too much. But I'm ready to switch if it doesn't get better. When you first got your email account from msn or yahoo or gmail, what did you find most helpful from the company? what annoyed you the most?

Get gmail! Google products are great. You get a lot of storage, you can chat with other gmail people, you can archive messages, and conversations are stored nicely (if you write someone back and forth it takes up one line in your inbox but allows you to delete individual messages if you wish). I really don't expect too much from email so that's all I can think of but everyone I know loves it too!

googlemail.

• quick
• lots of features
• zero spam
• easy one-click access to my inbox via firefox or the system tray
• a search box lets you search every email ever sent/received
• over 2gb of space for emails which can also be used as online storage for your files by getting the gmail drive shell extension.

plus google doesn't sell your email address to spammers like hotmail does lol :)
