I know I am very unexperienced in this sort of thing, and it would be great to have someone more worldly than me lend a hand. I have a friend named lindsay and it is very awkward now between us. I can tell that she is bitter towards me at the moment, she is much colder than the past 5 years, and brushes me off constantly. She talks about me to my other friends, and it is really hurting me. A fact to consider, is lindsay is an amazing actress (she has been acting professionally all her life) and when i ask her if there is something wrong between our friendship, she smiles sweetly and says: "no! of course not, lauren. where would you get that idea?" She makes me feel horrible about myself when I am around her, but yet I still try to remain close to her, and she still returns to me also. I know it is a very small situation, but simply: what should I do? thank you for taking the time to help me,

well, if u have the strength, ignore her, or confront her, like seriously. dont except the little giggle of an answer from her. Tell her how you are feeling. See how she responds, and if she doesnt seem to care then she's not worth it..(no offense)

i say you take revenge and give her a taste of her own medicine. but that's probably not the best thing. why don't you try and make some new friends, or just tell her the truth. that you know what she's doing. and ask her why? and if she doesn't come up with a good reason, and forgive you or whatever, then she's not worth it

my advice for you is to talk to her. and even if she says things are okay tell her you feel like things arnt and why you think that. tell her that she can talk to her about ANYTHING even if its stupid you will listen. make sure she knows you are a really good friend and that she can trust you. i think you should also tell her about the things she does that hurts you.

For all my life i have been very secretive about everything and i would talk about my feelings or share anything, but i have recently started to open up about things and its the best thing oyu can do. it has really helped my friendships.

i hope everything goes well with you. best of luck!!!!

Continue to be her friend but don't spend too much time with her. It sounds like she has the problem and uses you as her comfort zone.

I would say to call her and ask her seriously if she is mad or if something is wrong. I would tell her that you need to know an honest answer.
