I have just installed my XP operating system onto my computer. I have my internet connection already set up. Whenever I go to my start menu, There is no big blue e. All it is, is a planet with the words internet explorer next to it. When I open it, it takes me to my internet properties. Whatg is wrong?

Click Start, then Run
Type iexplore
See if Internet Explorer opens up
if it does not open, Internet Explorer is not installed
To install, IE, Go to control Panel
Select Add or remove Programs
Select Windows Programs
Check Internet Explorer
click Next
click OK
you should be done

it probably lost connection or the program u lost erased it.
