You satisfied with your job when you can't picture yourself leaving your position. If you can visualize leaving your position, then you are not satisfied.

I can say that the highest point I am satisfied with my job is when I do whatever I wanna do. I dont' care if I have to wrok by myself, from home all day long and don't receive monthly stipend but depends on my works. I don't care.
Cuz the most important thing for me is: I feel fullfil as a person with my own creations that Im not serving someone else's dreams, but my own dreams.

The proof is in the tasting. If you are satisfied after eating no one has to tell you, you just feel satisfied. If you don't then you aren't. There is no real satisfaction if the material world. One must know who we are and our actual purpose in life to be completely satisfied. We are not this body, race, color religion, job etc., we are spirit soul, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. I suggest the book The Universal Path to Enlightenment by stephen-knapp. for complete understanding of satisfaction and our purpose

To work means to be always in action...you feel anxious...even if you get a better position, you are not satisfied...cuz you want to achieve more...so i guess not working at all it would be less stressfull...but theres something good apout working...you always try to acomplish something more...and by the way you get to know yourself better.
