Well its not nessecarly a good or bad thing. People tell me all the time that I talk like a white girl because I speak with correct English. I take it as a complement saying that I have a professional speaking voice instead of taking it as an insult. So dont really pay any attentions to it. Whenever you are in an enviroment where most of the people there are alike but you stand out things like that are bound to happen. So just embrase it as a complement instead of being upset about it. Some people like to say things like that and act like you are the outcast when you are really just being yourself and not like them.

It's probably good as the black is probably jealous that you don't look like some kind a clown like most blacks do . They don't even know how to buy clothes that fit . Blacks dress the way they do because they want to be different . " They're different all right " . Besides when you have a small brain it's hard to figure out what to do . And it's a known fact that blacks have a brain that lacks a lot of convolutions .

I would assume the comment is not intended as a compliment.

Unless you find most of the other (predominantly black) student population also dresses in a similar preppy style (unlikely).

Whether you choose to get mad or whatever is really your decision...and the only thing you're accountable to control. If you want to fit into the herd, dress like them, act like them...and always be viewed by them as a wannabe.

My advice to you is to dress like you want to dress, don't respond to what they think of how you dress, and be comfortable in your own skin (and your own clothes...the ones you already like, not the ones you think they'll accept you in).

Best to you.

maximum black people do not properly known the undesirable area of their community simply by fact it reflects negatively on them, or they experience that they must look after it as a team and that white people shouldn't interfere. it is useful in a feeling. the subject nevertheless is that black people look to tolerate crime so plenty greater beneficial than whites. they could quite not cooperate with the police and tolerate black gangs shooting randomly in duels with one yet another, in all probability killing harmless bystanders. The South area of Chicago is extremely undesirable in this regard. the real difficulty for the black community is they're greater frightened of whites looking down at them than fixing their own communities. Integration has been undesirable for blacks besides as for whites. self-discipline and community standards are turning out to be relatively lax for the vast majority of black communities.

Well, I'm not sure. What does being Hispanic mean in terms of clothing? I have yet to see a store separate their rows by Black, Hispanic, White, Cuban.etc. If it's really a problem for them, tell them to by you some clothes they think you should wear.

it is insensitive and inappropriate to describe any one's style based on their ethnicity just like slashing ghetto and all black was insensitive and inappropriate. Be yourself if you are comfortable and assured that the way you dress best represents who you are on the inside then don't listen to what others say be glad about who God made you to be.
