Thanksgiving is a day of great feasting, and believe it or not there could be people even on the internet today that don't have food, or shelter, matters how they have access to the internet.

we are not going hungry though we hunger for a lost loved one we have food, shelter, 3 children 5 grandchildren and a new one on the way so even though we are sad we have much to be thankful for. I feel for those that are going hungry or are lonely today hopefully they go to one of the churches or organizations that are serving dinner so they can eat and socialize. I always brought my children up to think not about what you don't have but think of what others don't have that you have been blessed with God Bless you and hope you have a great Thanksgiving with loved ones and peace in your heart

No I'm going to have plenty of food and cheer. My daughter is bringing her boyfriend to our home for the first holiday ever. I worried that this wouldn't happen, but my prayers were answered and this is the best thing ever.
We have much to be thankful for. We're all still together...got a decent roof over our heads. Meanwhile we'll pray for all the less fortunate in hopes that some miracle will bring them happiness too, on Thanksgiving. Have a good holiday everyone!!!

uh, if they don't have food, dontcha think they won't have access to a computer? At least, the majority of them. And, the ones who've had the electric or the isp turned off? for nonpayment? And those of them on the street?
Well, you just may be right, anyway. If they haven't gotten evicted yet. There ARE people at the end of their rope...could be your next door neighbor, could be the unemployed in houses without heat or electricity, a mother and children living in an abandoned car...any number of scenarios...but how do you propose to help these people if no one knows who or where they are?
There ARE places for them to go for food...but a lot of them are bad places, in bad neighborhoods, with people who steal from them, or hurt them...and there are people who are embarrassed...and those who are very proud...those who are unemployed who would NOT even DREAM of going to one of these places...
So. What do you do for them?
It's very sad.

Well tomorrow we are not going to have Thanksgiving sdinner because we are in such a financial crunch that we dont have to money to buy food for Thanksgiving, we are just going to save up so that we will have food for Christmas dinner. But we are not going to go hungry, we are going to try to visit some family and friends and just go around and see what everone else is doing. I'm blessed cause things could be worse.

Anyone that needs dinner tomorrow should check with their local churches to see if they are offering a free meal. No one should ever have to go hungry or be alone.
