It is possible that your body is still healing from what is a big shock to the system, but on the other hand it is possible to fall pregnant straight away, have you done a pregnancy test?.

I am almost positive there isn't anything "left inside" If that were the case, you would be STILL bleeding from the miscarriage. Same with needing a D&C. You would need one because your bleeding isn't stopping. Now, sometimes after a miscarriage (although it isn't too common) your body temporarily shuts down the female parts. I had surgery and the trauma shut it down. No period or anything. I had to start Clomid in order to force ovulation and my periods. Call your doctor and ask him what he suggests. He may say, "come in and take a test", "come in for an exam" or" I will call you in a Clomid script". Ya never know. Good luck.

Sorry for your loss. Your body has to return to normal, Inside you there are still signs that you are pregnant. If you take a test it may say you are pregnant even if you are not. Your best course of action is to go back to the doctor and have a pap-smear and ask if there is a possibility for you to get pregnant again and if it is safe.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It will take a few months for your hormones to rebalance themselves. You may not get a period but you can still get pregnant so use precautions. Don't get pregnant again right away so your body can be in good shape to have a healthy baby next time.

I've heard that it can take up to six months for your cycle to get back to normal but to be safe you may want to go to the dr. never know you may be pregnant again. good luck.
