how would you check the readability of 4.06 x 10 to the power of 5?

I don't understand "readability" either, but I could point out that I would replace "to the power of " with the uppercase character on your 6 key, the "^". So 4.06 x 10^5 is the way I'd do it.

9th grade, eh. Being a freshman is fantastically cool in my e book: you have found out plenty and you have plenty to evaluation. Few places in life, IMHO, are as stable as that. Physicists choose techniques, thoughts, concept and test. infrequently ever choose people, and *by no skill* choose some one for asking a query. Physics *is* the paintings of asking questions. not quite sure what you mean by readability.....

it reads like scientific notation i guess.
