I'm thankful for my kids and my job.

Its an American holiday, but its Puritan in origin.

I gave money to a homeless shelter.

Oh, surely, these days Thanksgiving has to be about the most non-denominational event in the American Calendar. A person does not need to be a christian, or for that matter embrace any other particular religious belief system, to acknowledge the hundreds of things for which we have every reason to be thankful. If anything, Thanksgiving could - and perhaps should - be looked on as the one occasion the year when ALL Americans, regardless of racial origins, skin color, religious beliefs - or any other category of thing you can think of-can come together in a single point of common agreement - that we DO have so much to be thankful for, and truly grateful.

It's an American holiday, but a good reminder to everyone to give thanks.

I'm thankful for begin alive and for my friends a nd family-life it self is a blessing.

I donated to United Way because they spread the charity to multiple organization.

thanksgiving is about being thankful for the pilgrims coming to america so i would say that it is an american holiday. also i don't give to charity (sorry!)

i am thankful for my family and the fact that i have one to love and support me. i think it is an american holiday definately. and i dont know what u mean by charity, but i do give blankets away.

That Damn Lincoln declared it a holiday for the Yankee troops when they were attacking Southerners. I don't celebrate that holiday thank you. half a million dead. Innocent Southern women and children and men killed by those damn Yankees.city's burned. 20 years of occupation. why should I celebrate a holiday he declared

It is an American holiday. However, it can have religiuos symbolism for any religion becuase you are giving thanks and being genrous, what religion does not support that.

I am most thanksful for my friends and my family, whoa re one in the same.
