I am thinking along with Devon. I would get to a clinic and find out what the matter could be.

I will occasionally get that if I end up lying on my arms in my sleep, or lying in such a way that it restricts the blood supply - basically just a normal case of "pins and needles" - so if you're doing that, then it's probably nothing to worry about.
However, if it's happening most days, then it's probably not a cause of just lying on your arms, so it may be worth getting it checked out by a doctor.

Sounds like you may be compressing the nerve in your elbow while you sleep. I have damage to the nerve in my elbows which causes the same symptoms when ever I lean on or sleep in such a way as to put too much pressure on the nerves. Try getting a nerve conduction test to find out if you have a similar problem

i get it all the time, and it wakes me up, have to rub it to take it away, think it is just the way you lie on a nerve when you are sleeping, but you could be sufffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, ask your doctor about it, dont think you have anything to worry about though!!

I would have thought it's because you might have slept on them, or had applied pressure to your hands (if you tuck your hand under your pillow, say) so when you move them they feel tingly! But I would visit the doctor if it worries you too much.

It happens sometimes. Try and get more warm covers and relax your muscles as you fall asleep.
