I'm a vegetarian As well and I know I'm not going to eat the turkey either.First, it's not that you can't eat the turkey it's that you have the will power not to.Second, just eat everything else.If you don't eat fish like myself and there is fish just don't eat it.I live in a house where everyone here eats meat every night but I avoid it and eat everything else we have.So I'd suggest just eating the other things because there's bound to be more than just meat.

Are you cooking or are you going somewhere? We have several vegetarians in the family and I make a vegetarian version of every side dish. Usually they take turns preparing a main course to share amongst themselves. If you're attending Thanksgiving at someone else's house, bring a vegetarian dish so you know you'll have something that's safe for you to eat.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I've heard from some people that tofurkey is good, and from some that it's nasty. So I don't know if you really want to eat that. Or, if you want to, you can eat everything but the turkey (mashed potatoes, etc..)
Whatever you decide to do, Happy Thanksgiving!!

dont eat the turkey. theres lots of other things at thanksgiving dinners. theres always salad, stuffing, (ask for it to be made on the side, therefore its vegetarian freindly.) cranberry sauce (try it, its not bad!) and more, depending on what your family enjoys over the holidays. just be sure to spend time with your family. thats what the holidays are all about!! have a great thanksgiving!! :)

leeks with mushrooms cooked in a tiny bit of butter slowly (sweating i think they call it) - add half a cup of vegetable stock and let it reduce for about 20 minutes - then add 2 tablespoons of brandy and finish it off with some double cream just before serving - accompany this with ribbon paste - yum - not a veggie myself but one of the dishes i really enjoy
have fun - happy thanksgiving
